Nutrition should fit into your life, not the other way around. Food has always meant more than nourishment to me. Growing up in a multicultural household, I saw how meals reflect culture, tradition, and identity. That perspective shapes how I practice today. I believe you should be able to care for your health without giving up the foods and traditions that matter to you.
As a Registered Dietitian with a master’s degree in Nutrition Communication, I have had the privilege of working with individuals navigating new diagnoses such as prediabetes, hypertension, and fatty liver disease. Many came into our sessions feeling overwhelmed, unsure of what their diagnosis meant or how to move forward. Together, we slowed things down. I translated complex information into clear, meaningful steps and worked alongside each person to build goals that felt realistic, sustainable, and aligned with their lifestyle, culture, and beliefs.
Later, while working in complex care, I often heard the same reflection: “I wish I had known this earlier.” Those moments stayed with me. They reinforced how powerful the right support and guidance can be at the right time. I reminded each person that it is never too late to take control of your health, and that managing a condition does not mean losing your identity or the life you enjoy.
This is why I do this work. I am here to help you understand your health, feel confident in your choices, and find a way of eating that supports both your wellbeing and who you are.
